Greg Baty is Managing Partner of BB Capital, where he focuses on lower middle market investments and provides strategic advisory services to private equity firms and portfolio companies.
Previously, Greg led the Florida Growth Fund at Hamilton Lane, overseeing approximately $500 million in investments across private equity, venture capital, and credit strategies on behalf of the State Board of Administration of Florida. Throughout his career, he has held leadership and investment roles with Trivest Partners, Montreux Growth Partners, General American Capital Partners, Garage Technology Ventures, and Sand Hill Capital, serving on numerous company and fund advisory boards.
Greg earned a Master of Science in Management as a Sloan Fellow from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. Before his business career, he played nine seasons in the NFL with the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. He also serves as Vice Chair of Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.
